6.
The less-than ogive and the more-than ogive of a distribution cut each other at a point. What does the x-coordinate of this point represent?
1
7.
If the mean of a distribution is 40 and the median is 41, find the mode using the empirical relation.

11.
Two dice are thrown together. Find the probability that the sum of the numbers is at least 9.
2
12.
A bag contains 5 red, 8 white, 4 black and 3 green balls. One ball is drawn at random. Find the probability that it is (i) white or green (ii) not red.
